March fundraising update

With the recent lockdown we haven’t been able to do much but we have still been raising money in the background!

At the beginning of this month, we had a community pizza night with the amazing Nonna’s. They parked their van at Honywood school, people placed preorders and it was a safe, socially distanced way to get some delicious pizza. What is more, it came just before schools returned so was a great way to celebrate the end of homeschooling.

We were also very lucky to have a member of the community create the most beautiful ceramic wall fronts of different houses in Coggeshall with all of the money from the sale of these going to our project. Kay Stallard began a project to make different buildings in Coggeshall and she had so many comments and lovely feedback, she began making these house fronts on request. They were in high demand and you can see from the photo why this is. Thank you so much Kay!

As we look ahead to the summer we are starting to make plans. The Jumble Trail will be happening in June and they have selected the BPP as the charity to receive donations through this. We also will be holding another Eco Fair in September. Beyond those events we may be able to organise more but we are going to take things slowly as we see what happens next with COVID.

If you would like to help in any way, whether through using a match funding scheme your company might offer or by sponsoring us in some form, just get in touch via [email protected].
