Make & Grow Show / Eco Fair - a success!
Thank you SO much to everyone who came to the Make & Grow Show / Eco Fair today, whether you bought raffle tickets, food, visited the stalls or entered the show. Below are some photos from the event provided by the wonderful local professional photographer Toni Howard.
We had a fantastic time and it’s looking like we hit our target which is incredible, especially given the circumstances. It’s going to give us a good start to getting the second phase of the playground done.
A particular thank you to Adam from Coggeshall Catering Company who did the BBQ for free (it was so delicious), Vital Workplace Training who gave us free food hygiene training, Compassion Medical who were our first aiders at the event, Alie Barnes for sorting all the entries to the show, our wonderful judges, Coggeshall Parish Council for letting us use the Rec, the Scouts & Guides group for lending us equipment, others who helped with gazebos and tables, Michael Staines who brought the fun spirit of Stock Street with him, Jenny Stevenson for selling raffle tickets throughout the day, stallholders for being there and donating prizes and all of our volunteers who baked, organised and made it happen. If we’ve forgotten anyone then apologies – it’s been a long day!
Once we have the final total all tallied up we will post the figure on here. Due to COVID, this is going to be our last event for a little while. We hope everything can return to normal next year and we have lots of ideas for when it’s safe to get planning again.
In the meantime, keep an eye out here and on our Facebook page for any other updates as we are going to keep thinking of ideas to generate money. Thank you again!
